GIZA45 藍染靴下

"Watanabe's," which collaborated on the "Watanabe's Collaboration GIZA45 Indigo Dyed Socks" is an indigo dyeing workshop that handles everything from cultivating the raw material indigo to dyeing and manufacturing the products by themselves. Represented by Mr. Kenta Watanabe, who has also provided guidance on indigo dyeing and dye making in NHK Taiga dramas, it is a workshop specializing in traditional indigo dyeing.

Each pair of socks from Watanabe's is meticulously dyed using traditional Japanese techniques, and their indigo color is characterized by its deep and uniform hue. However, since the conditions for making the dyeing solution (building the indigo vat) are greatly influenced by natural environments, there is no identical dyeing solution. Due to the difficulty of the technique, uneven dyeing is common in indigo dyeing for socks, but thanks to Mr. Watanabe's advanced skills, Watanabe's achieves a unique product with five shades of indigo, all dyed uniformly.

As you continue to wear and wash them, the color of the socks will further change, allowing you to enjoy the process.
